Gift of Motherhood eLearning Childbirth Education program
This program is an alternative for those who prefer an online class. The childbirth education program is an interactive, Web-based program that includes animated illustrations, videos, voice-overs and games. It can be viewed on a PC or Mac. High speed Internet is advised but dial-up will work; although it will take longer to download.
The cost is $75. Once you pay for the program, a code will be emailed to you. This code will be valid for 14 days starting from the time you first log on. Your childbirth educator's contact information, email and/or phone number will be included on the program's contact page for questions and support. Preview the eLearning experience here

Survival Skills for New Parents
Be prepared for those first few weeks at home with your new baby. Practice the basics of feeding, diapering, burping, swaddling and comforting a newborn. Infant illness and safety are also covered in this interactive class.

Labor and Birth (English)
Build confidence in yourself and your partner as you prepare for the birth of your baby. Learn about the stages of labor, comfort and coping skills, medical interventions and the role of the support person. A tour of The Nesting Place Obstetrical Suites is provided as part of this interactive class.
Note: Please bring 2-3 pillows and blanket or exercise mat for this class.

Breastfeeding your baby is a wonderful, healthy gift you can give your baby. Find out how you and your partner can work together toward successfully feeding your baby. A board certified lactation consultant will address the health benefits for mom and baby, breastfeeding positions, pumping and milk storage.

This "Men Only" class is a hit with dads-to-be! Join veteran dads with their 2-6 month old babies for a true hands-on experience. Learn practical tips that prepare you for the immense joy and challenge of raising a baby. (Please note: During flu season there will not be a veteran dad and baby in this class. However, the class will still have great learning opportunities in a fun and men-only environment.)

This fun and interactive class is designed to help your 4 to 9 year-old get ready for the arrival of their new sibling. We will discuss how to be a "Big Helper" to Mom and Dad with holding, feeding and changing baby with emphasis on the importance of hand washing. We will also discuss feelings they may have about the new baby as well as discuss toy safety. Tour of the birthing and recovery rooms, video and Welcome New Sibling art projects included. Attend this class prior to arrival of new sibling or up to 3 months postpartum. Child must be accompanied by at least one adult.

This American Heart Association Community Heart saver CPR course will prepare you for providing CPR, AED and choking relief for infant, child and adult. AHA CPR card will be issued. Please wear comfortable clothes. This is not a healthcare provider’s class. The First-Aid course is immediately following CPR class. AHA First Aid card will be issued.
- Cost: $45 for both classes; $35 CPR alone (CPR class attendance is required in order to take First Aid)
- Time: Offers from 1-5 p.m. the second Saturdays of each month

Children Are Priceless Passengers (CAPP)
The CAPP program is a partnership between Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety, police departments, and municipal/justice courts designed to educate families about:
- Injury prevention
- Crash dynamics
- Types of restraints for children
- Installation of child safety seats (car seats)
The class is taught by certified child passenger safety technicians. The classes are open to the public and cited drivers.If you have a child safety seat, please bring it to class.

Refreshing the Birth Experience: Labor and Birth Refresher
This class is designed for parents who have previously given birth. Join other couples to refresh your knowledge on the process of labor and birth in a fun learning environment. Parents will learn breathing and relaxation techniques, current medications and interventions, as well as Cesarean birth. A tour of The Nesting Place Obstetrical Suites is included.
- Cost: $50
- Time: 6 - 9 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month
