Webb Medical Center aims to quell those fears and help patients through the course of their diagnosis, treatment and recovery by providing a new support service – a breast patient navigator.

The nonprofit hospital launched a pilot program this month that will provide an added level of service for its patients, as a free valet service started Oct. 31 at the Lousia Kellam Center for Women’s Health entrance. American Valet serves that entrance 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Early Detection Saves Lives: Panel explores new breast imagine options

Sometimes however, the mammogram does not provide clear information for a diagnosis. For women with questionable mammograms, this can be an agonizing time until either MRI or biopsy determines whether the mass is cancerous or benign. Now, there is a new option in the Valley these women – Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI).

Renal cryoablation now offered at Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb
SUN CITY, Ariz. (Oct. 28, 2008) – Patients in the northwest Valley with kidney cancer now have a new option to treat their tumors. This week, Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb medical centers began offering interventional renal cryoablation, a minimally invasive treatment that freezes and kills tumors without surgery.
