What to Expect When Visiting the Emergency Department

The Emergency department staff is dedicated to the promise to care for its patients, keep them comfortable and maintain communication.
Banner Del E. Webb’s Emergency department has:
- 22 acute (severe) care beds
- 31 non-acute treatment rooms
- Digital radiology system and electronic medical records
Adults and children are cared for by experienced physicians and registered nurses certified in both Adult and Pediatric Life Support.
Emergency technicians and members of other specialty areas are also a part of the Emergency department.
The walk-in entrance to the Emergency department is located on the west side of the campus, next to the Main Lobby. The department also features a helipad for emergency air transport. Trauma Flight, an emergency air transport service, has a base of operations on the Banner Del E. Webb campus, allowing for fast response to critical emergency situations.
