Our facility has also partnered with the Surprise Fire Department to use Lifenet, a digital 12-lead field EKG. Fire department emergency personnel use this device in the field to transmit pertinent data back to hospital personnel. When the patient arrives at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, our physicians and nurses can offer immediate care without having to be brought up-to-date on the case. This new system has already saved lives.
