As part of our Women's Diagnostic Services, Banner Del E. Webb is one of the only hospitasl in the metropolitan Phoenix area that provides Breast Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI), a molecular breast imaging procedure that shows the metabolic activity of breast lesions. BSGI is a valuable tool following a questionable mammogram, when further evaluation is needed. We are also offer 3D mammography and breast MRI.
Our staff works closely with physicians to provide knowledgeable interpretation of imaging tools and treatment techniques to ensure the best possible care decisions are made for each patient. Del E. Webb uses the latest Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) technology to communicate with physicians and send imaging results via a secure Internet connection. This gives physicians the information to quickly share with their patients—because we know that when one's health is in question, results can never come too soon.
To provide the most accurate imaging services, medical imaging professionals at Del E. Webb are nationally licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state certified by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners.
