Welcome to the Louisa Kellam Center for Women's Health
Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center -- Louisa Kellam Center for Women's Health excels at providing women with convenient, comprehensive care for every stage of life.
At Banner Health, 80 percent of employees are women, as are most of our key leaders. We understand women’s busy lives. More importantly, Banner Health combines leading technology and advanced care with real understanding of women’s needs.
We provide outpatient and hospital care, education and support for women of all ages.
Our center is named after Louisa Kellam -- a talented violinist who has played professionally with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. She is no stranger to performing for appreciative crowds. However, when the opportunity arose to link her name with the new Center for Women's Health , she was awestruck, saying, "The thought of the new center being named after me was almost too much to contemplate.''
Designating the new facility the Louisa Kellam Center for Women's Health honors Louisa and her husband, Birt, for their significant donation supporting the center's mission of caring for women in every stage of life.
The Louisa Kellam Center offers classrooms and a large auditorium for educational programs and support group meetings. The center provides innovative programs to help prevent disease, promote good health and wellness and encourage women to plan and participate in their own health care.
We also provide comprehensive support and education through our Spirit of Women Program.
