OB Orientation and Epidural Class
Suzanne Clinton, RN - Prenatal Educator
Image: In a prenatal room, Suzanne Clinton, RN, speaks throughout the video.
Audio: “If you’re still deciding where to deliver your baby, we strongly encourage you to register for OB orientation at Banner Desert Medical Center so you can see exactly what we offer to our families and why we’re still number one for delivering babies in Arizona.
We have a really informative slide show presentation of the Women and Infant Services that we offer at Banner Desert. You’ll actually see photos of our labor and delivery suites, our recovery area, our couplet care area where mom and babies go after delivery, as well as our nursery, and then, for special cases, our neonatal intensive care unit. We will show you all the advantages delivering your baby at Banner Desert.
Also, we have a free epidural class which follows OB orientation. Our epidural class is topped by an OB anesthesiologist where they’ll actually tell you what the procedure is for the epidural, the medications that are used, all the risks and benefits. Both of these classes are offered on the third Tuesday of every month in the evening.
We want moms and their coaches to feel as comfortable as possible before, during and after delivery. That’s why we really do encourage you to take one of our prenatal classes.
For more information, you can call (602)230-CARE, which is (602)230-2273. Or you can go online to BannerHealth.com.”
