Banner Desert Cancer Center now offers patients the opportunity to work with a dedicated Cancer Care Coordinator.
Our Cancer Care Coordinator is here to help reduce the stress that many patients experience after hearing the words “you have cancer.” She can assist patients with coordination of their treatment plan and help them determine which of Banner Desert’s many programs and services would be the most helpful.

Banner Desert Cancer Center is pleased to introduce Pat Pinckard as our Cancer Care Coordinator. Pat is a certified nurse practitioner with more than 25 years experience working in cancer care. Pat has in-depth knowledge of the many facets of cancer care, including education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Providing compassionate individualized care, Pat is the newest member of our team of dedicated, multi-disciplinary professionals that includes experienced physicians, nurses, clinical specialists, and technicians working to make a difference in the lives of Banner Desert cancer patients.
What does the Cancer Care Coordinator do?
The Cancer Care Coordinator provides support and serves as a personal liaison for cancer patients undergoing treatment and seeking guidance. She also serves as an aid and advocate by making certain that each patient is getting the education, support, and resources that best compliment their individualized cancer care plan.

The Cancer Care Coordinator can assist with any part of a patient's cancer journey, from scheduling tests and treatments to answering questions about our hospital programs and services. It is the Cancer Care Coordinator's mission to provide guidance and support that will best help you manage the cancer journey.
