Jewel's Garden Oncology Boutique
To help meet the special needs of cancer patients, both adult and pediatric, as well as cancer survivors and their families and caregivers, Banner Desert Cancer Center opened Jewel’s Garden Oncology Boutique in 2006.

A specialty gift shop, Jewel's Garden Oncology Boutique carries a broad selection of items useful to cancer patients and cancer survivors, including:
- breast prosthetics
- bras
- post-breast surgery camisoles
- wigs and hairpieces
- scarves
- non-metallic hygiene products
- ostomy products
- nutritional supplements
In addition, Jewel's Garden now can file Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Health Net insurances, expanding to other insurance carriers per patient.
The Oncology Boutique caters to the individual needs of its cancer customers by providing two private fitting rooms, a private wig room and a staff of employee and volunteer cancer survivors and certified prosthesis fitters.

Proceeds from the Oncology Boutique help fund the hospital’s Cancer Resource Center, a service provided in partnership with the American Cancer Society to help cancer patients and cancer survivors identify and benefit from community-specific cancer resources.
