Thomas J. Taylor, MD
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Taylor is a native Arizonan whose philosophy of care is quite simple – always do what's best for the patient. His priority is to listen to and respect your unique point of view. By doing this, he can gain valuable insights into your particular needs. You can feel empowered and confident your medical, emotional and spiritual needs are being met.
Dr. Taylor is a graduate of Arizona State University, the University of Oregon Medical School, and fulfilled his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He has been with Banner Desert Medical Center serving as Medical Director since 1983.
Irene Taw, MD
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Irene Taw sincerely strives to provide her patients with equal measures of communication and compassion. She will explain your case to you in detail, encourage you to ask questions, present a comprehensive set of treatment options, offer her expertise and support you and your family in whatever choices you make.
Dr. Taw graduated from the University of California, Davis, and the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Ill. and completed a radiation oncology residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, Ill., as well as a pediatric radiology oncology residency at St. Jude Children Research Center, Memphis, Tenn.
Dr. Taw is a member of The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, The American College of Radiology, The American Medical Association and The American Radium Society.
Alice F. Tsai, MD
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Tsai specializes in the treatment of breast and prostate cancer and is experienced in APBI breast brachytherapy including use of the MammoSite device, HDR brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, IMRT, and seed implants for prostate cancer treatment.
Dr. Tsai completed her residency at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, one of thirty-nine NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. She earned her MD at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and subsequently completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Ill.
Dr. Tsai is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
