Emergency Care Services
Featuring board-certified emergency physicians, specialty-trained nurses and support staff, Banner Desert’s Emergency department is here to serve East Valley residents.
In fact, we see more emergencies than any other Arizona hospital, treating more than 100,000 patients annually.
Our goal is that our patients are seen by a physician and receive care as quickly as possible. Language and interpretive services are available; please ask the nurse or Emergency department receptionist about these services.
In 2011, we opened the largest Emergency center in Arizona, with 103 treatment bays. We expect to treat well more than 100,000 people annually.
Specialized Pediatric Care
Cardon Children's Medical Center, on the Banner Desert campus, has a specialized Pediatric Emergency department that provides emergency care to pediatric patients in a pediatric setting.
Cardon Children's recognizes that children are not small adults and that they require specialized care provided by board-certified pediatric emergency physicians.
