Intensive Care Unit
Banner Desert's Intensive Care Units consist of 53 multi-disciplinary beds:
- Seven cardiovascular ICU beds
- A 22-bed Medical ICU
- A 24-bed Surgical Transition ICU.
Our Intensive Care Units are specially designed to care for open-heart surgery, cardiac care, general medicine and respiratory patients.
Patients requiring intensive care following surgery are cared for in our Surgical Transition ICU, featuring state-of-the-art Universal Room concept. Patients remain in this unit throughout their hospital stay, eliminating the need for transfers during their recovery.
