Medical Imaging at Banner Desert Medical Center

To provide the most accurate imaging services, Banner Desert works in partnership with Associated Radiologists, Ltd. (ARL), a group of board-certified radiology physicians.

This group brings additional training and certification in such areas as:

ARL specialists work closely with physicians to provide knowledgeable interpretation of imaging tools and treatment techniques to ensure the best possible care decisions are made for each patient.

Banner Desert also helps pediatric patients with our Medical Imaging department at Cardon Children's Medical Center located on the Banner Desert campus.

Pre-Authorization
Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children’s Medical Center are proud to provide a convenient pre-authorization service for tests for outpatient medical imaging services, as ordered by a physician. 

To initiate the convenient pre-authorization process which includes scheduling, please fax the following information to (602) 640-3220: 

• Pre-Authorization Order Form -- Pediatric and Adult (PDF)
• Physician order
• Copy of photo ID
• Copy of insurance card
• Patient History and Notes
• Any old lab or radiology reports
