Stroke Check 2010  

Banner Desert Medical Center is committed to supporting our communities' neurological needs. 

In recognition of National Stroke Awareness Month, we host an annual Stroke Check event.

This free community screening event helps assess an individual's risk for having a stroke.

Appointments are limited. Please call (602) 230-CARE to register

The screening includes:

  • Written stroke risk assessment
  • Evaluation of the neck arteries
  • Blood pressure check
  • Pulse check
  • Cholesterol/glucose screening
  • Review of results by a physician
