Banner Desert Medical Center Rehabilitation offers a state-of-the aquatic facility to help people regain their physical strength and flexibility.

Most patients find they can tolerate activity in the water sooner than on land. Our center keeps the aquatic physical therapy pool at a therapeutic temperature of 92-95 degrees.

The warm temperature helps decrease muscle spasms and increase the elasticity of soft tissues to improve range of motion and flexibility.

The buoyancy decreases pressure on painful joint surfaces and allows partial weight-bearing with walking.
