Since 1984, more women than men have died of cardiovascular disease (nearly 500,000 each year).  Nearly half of all women over age 45 have high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol.  Heart disease’s many risk factors can be controlled, and steps taken to improve heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease.  Banner Desert Heart Center (pdf) offers comprehensive, progressive care provided by highly-skilled, compassionate professionals.  The healing environment centers on the family, which plays a major role in patient recovery.   Banner Desert’s Heart Center offers:
