Support Groups

Banner Estrella Medical Center realizes how powerful sharing your health care experience can be. We offer a number of support groups:

Alzheimer's Caregiver's Support Group
Share advice, lessons learned and feelings about caring for someone with Alzheimer's.

• When: First Mondays from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Grief Support Group
Learn to manage your grief and share experiences.

• Cost: Free

Lactation Support Group
Led by Candace Sibly, a lactation nurse, this support group helps new mothers and their families. No reservation is required.

• Cost: Free
• When: Mondays from 1 - 2 p.m.
• Where: Conference Center

Circle of Mothers Support Group
Led by Amey Clark, RN, this support group is for expecting and new mothers with infants 12 months or younger. Mothers have the chance to meet with other new mothers and discuss topics such as nutrition, infant massage and newborn sleep. For more information, e-mail Amey Clark, RN.

Cuddlers (Birth to 7 months)

• Cost: Free
• When: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
• Where: Conference Center (in the back lobby)
• No registration is required

Movers and Shakers  (8 to 18 months)

• Cost: Free
• When: Tuesdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. 
• Where: Conference Center (in the back lobby)
• No registration is required

Evening Circle of Mothers Group (birth to 18 months)

• Cost: Free
• When: 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. 
• Where: Conference Center (in the back lobby)
• No registration is required
