The Banner Estrella Medical Center interventional services unit integrates multiple services, including general surgery and endoscopy, cardiac surgery and cath lab, orthopedic surgery, diagnostic imaging and non-invasive cardiology.
General Surgery and Endoscopy
Seven general surgery suites and two endoscopy suites are located on the second floor in interventional services. All surgical interventions can be performed in the universal surgical suites, providing physicians more availability to equipment and surgery rooms for their patients.
Interventional Cardiology Suites
The cardiology suites are developed with the most technologically-advanced procedural tools to provide a full complement of diagnostic and cardiac procedures.
The cardiac and cath lab area include two cath labs, one angioplasty room, two endovascular suites, seven ultrasound machines, two nuclear medicine rooms, 3-D workstations and two heart/lung machines.
The cardiac interventional team is a unique and highly skilled group of caregivers who can work in both the cardiac cath lab and cardiac surgery.

Rich with imaging technology, the medical imaging unit of interventional suites includes an MRI, two CT machines, three general radiology rooms, two radiology/fluoroscopy rooms, seven ultrasound machines and two nuclear medicine rooms.
