Cardio-vascular Operating Room
Banner Estrella Medical Center offers a specialty Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) suite to help support our cardiac patients with the highest standards of care. You can be assured that our medical professionals have the experience, skill and technology to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our cardiovascular surgery professionals specialize in cardiac and vascular procedures. We focus on the following types of procedures:
- Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG)
- Mitral and aortic valve replacements or repairs
- Abdominal aortic repairs
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Transthoracic procedures
The CVOR is part of our Surgical Care Unit, which also the pre-op holding unit and our recovery area. The caregivers who comprise these units are involved collaboratively with each other and with the surgeons, anesthesiologists and other health care professionals to provide the best surgical experience possible.
