Banner Gateway celebrates its fourth birthday

On Sept.18, Banner Gateway celebrated its fourth birthday. It is hard to believe that it has been four years since we opened our doors and started to provide the community with excellent patient care.

It is hard to keep track of just how many patients we provide care to over the span of a year, so I want to give you some fun statistics. From September 2010 through August 2011 we had:

• 13,679 Patient Admissions
• 49,675 Emergency Department Visits
• 7,338 Surgeries Performed
• 4,223 Babies Born

While those numbers are impressive, another notable fact is that Banner Gateway has been named Banner's Best of the Best for two out of our four years of our existence. That is an absolute testament of the incredible people working here. I truly want to thank you for all of your continued hard work and dedication.
