Banner Imaging Associates transition from Inland Imaging

Banner Imaging Associates (BIA), currently the employed radiology group for Banner Good Samaritan, will be expanding their coverage to include Banner Gateway and Banner Ironwood. This group will be held to the same expectations of Inland Imaging including timeliness of reads, technological efficiencies for expediting reading, productivity of radiologists and quality peer review process.

This transition will happen through many phases which are detailed below.

• On July 1, the current radiologists on site at Banner Gateway departed.
  From now until October 8, five Inland Imaging physicians from Spokane will rotate weekly at Banner Gateway.
• On October 8, BIA will provide BGMC daytime coverage with two on site BIA radiologists. During this time Inland Imaging will provide Banner Gateway with nighttime coverage.
• On November 1, when Banner Ironwood opens, BIA will provide them with coverage.
• The transition will be complete in September 2011 when Banner Imaging Associates will provide complete imaging services to Banner Good Samaritan, Banner Gateway  and Banner Ironwood.
