Congratulations to Banner Gateway’s Top Docs

PHOENIX Magazine’s annual “Top Docs” issue hit the newsstands in April, with more than 400 Banner Health-affiliated physicians representing Phoenix-area acute care hospitals recognized in 52 specialties. Out of that number, 30 of them are from Banner Gateway!

Each year the magazine conducts a survey by asking local physicians, “Who do you consider to be the best in the field?” The doctors are selected by fellow physicians through a peer-review survey. Physicians must be board certified by their respective boards to qualify. PHOENIX Magazine randomly selects and surveys 5,000 of the Valley’s physicians. After researching all of the physicians on the list, each name is checked against the state’s medical boards and further evaluated.
