As it states in the bylaws, in a situation where more than one candidate is nominated for any position all active members of the Medical Staff will receive one official ballot in the mail and will have the opportunity to cast a vote. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes of the Executive Committee shall decide who is elected. However, in this election we only had solo candidates and ballots were not required to be sent.
