Pam Nenaber named Gilbert Woman of the Year
Congratulations to Pam Nenaber, who was named Woman of the Year by the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
The woman of the year is nominated by members of the community and selected based on her involvement, business success and mentorship qualities in Gilbert, said Kathy Tilque, president and CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.
Nenaber was selected from 11 other nominees who are also known for their involvement in Gilbert.
“We are so pleased to be honoring a great selection of women in our community,” said Paige Modlin, chairwoman of the Gilbert Chamber’s What Women Want in Business event committee, in a written statement. “The nominations were extremely competitive.”
Nenaber was chosen in part for Banner Gateway’s success under her leadership. She was named CEO of the Gilbert hospital in 2008 and since then it has been named the highest performing Banner Health hospital in 2010 and 2011.
Nenaber is on the board of directors for the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Health Administrators Forum and Women in Healthcare. Formerly, she was the president of the Seton Catholic High School advisory board and a board member for Child Crisis Center.
