Smart Speech now available

Smart Speech is the new automatic attendant for the telephone system at Banner Gateway and is designed to help transfer internal calls to departments more quickly.

When you call the operator and want to be transferred to another department, simply say the department name. You may interrupt the message you hear by just saying a name such as Laboratory. This is an internal system that is facility specific, so there is no need to say Banner Gateway before the department.

So, next time you want to call the Pharmacy but don't have the phone number handy, just pick up the phone, dial 0 and say Pharmacy.
