Thank you and farewell Sheri Dahlstrom
By Pam Nenaber, CEO
It is with great pleasure and sadness that I inform you that Sheri Dahlstrom, chief nursing officer, will be changing roles and joining the team at Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children's Medical Center as their CNO next week.
It is hard to say goodbye to someone in your family that you won’t see every day. Of course, it is not really goodbye, but rather a “see you soon.” I feel so proud to have had the opportunity to see Sheri flourish and grow and to see her go to the next step of her career journey.
I just love it when good people do well and are recognized for their efforts. Sheri has lived the Banner mission and absolutely has made a difference.
She has been an integral part of getting Banner Mesa to the top of its game, in having Banner Gateway fulfill its high expectations and in having Banner MD Anderson begin to be the best place to receive cancer care in Arizona.
Along with many others, I will miss her wisdom, her humor, her sensitivity, and of course her clothes and shoes! She is the best and we wish her the best of luck in her new endeavors.
The search has already begun for another leader to fill her role here at Banner Gateway and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. Cathy Townsend, CNO for Banner Ironwood Medical Center, will be filling the role of interim CNO for our campus beginning Jan. 23. She will relocate here to provide that fulltime interim role.
