Having a baby is an exciting time in a woman’s life.

The physicians and staff at Banner Gateway Medical Center work together to meet the needs of mothers-to-be and their babies throughout the pregnancy, labor, delivery and recovery experience.

Our staff provides personalized care using the latest technology in a family-centered environment.

Following a couplet care model, mothers and babies at Banner Gateway are cared for together whenever possible, with family and friends involved as the patient desires.
 
Women should check with their physician to determine which prenatal tests need to be scheduled.

Banner Gateway also offers a full complement of education programs including childbirth education, parenting classes, sibling classes and lactation counseling for breastfeeding moms. 

All expectant mothers will receive our Banner Health Parents-To-Be Book from their physician’s office. This helpful book covers such important topics as prenatal advice, hospital information and home care education.
