Additionally,  we have an excellent nursing culture at Banner Good Samaritan as evidenced by a recent NDNQI (National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators) survey that showed our nurses are “highly satisfied” with the quality of physician/nursing interaction, RN-RN interaction and Autonomy. We have also been recognized by the American Nursing Association as a Magnet™ facility, the gold standard in nursing excellence.

Magnet-level nursing at Banner Good Samaritan is reinforced by the continued promotion of professionalism and autonomy within our work setting. We support the expansion of our core of certified nurses,  focus on standardization of evidence-based practice, generate the highest volume of original nursing research investigations in our history, offer unique educational academies, provide numerous mentorship opportunities and novel simulation learning, and we have reconfigured Shared Leadership…all with the intent to strengthen the practice of our exemplary nurses at the bedside.
