Six gardens, including the award-winning Healing Garden, provide an atmosphere for reflection and relaxation.
To ensure your spiritual and emotional needs are met, interfaith hospital chaplains are available around the clock to meet with you.
The Chapel, located on the main floor of the hospital between the lobby and Patient Tower, is open daily for quiet reflection and meditation. Scriptures and spiritual literature of different faiths are available upon request. If you are in need of a spiritual conversation or emotional support, ask your nurse to place a request for a chaplain.
From expressing feelings and improving coping skills to promoting physical rehabilitation, Music Therapy can alleviate patients' pain, stress and anxiety with an array of music activities. To meet with a music therapist, please have your nurse contact the Music Therapy department.
Through the Banner Good Samaritan Service League Volunteer department, canines aid in the healing process. Specially trained and certified Dog Therapy teams travel throughout the hospital visiting patients and visitors. Ask your nurse about our dog therapy.
Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center offers our patients aromatherapy as a way to make them more comfortable and reduce pain. We apply essential oils through massage or via cotton balls or gauze pads. Please contact your nurse to request these services.
