About Banner Family Pharmacy 

What is Banner Family Pharmacy?

• Banner Family Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy dedicated to providing the highest quality care for Banner employees and patients seen by Banner providers.

Are you open around the clock?

• Almost. We are only closed Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. If the doors are locked, please call us at (602)839-2300 if the doors are locked. 

How does Banner Family Pharmacy differ from other pharmacies?

• Banner Family Pharmacy is nonprofit pharmacy that focuses on quality patient care instead of revenue.

How does it work?

• A prescription can be called, faxed, sent electronically or dropped off in person to be filled for pick-up or mail-out.

Can I get refills on a prescription?

• Yes, we can fill any prescription we have previously filled.

How will my privacy be maintained?

• All Banner Family Pharmacy patients including Banner Health employees can expect the highest level of confidentiality for all of their medication needs.  Like all other health care providers, we follow federal privacy laws without exception.

Can i save money with Banner Family Pharmacy?

• Banner Family Pharmacy carries a formulary of prescription medications and over-the-counter products, most are available at lower prices than other local pharmacies. 

Medications

Can I have Banner Family Pharmacy fill my prescriptions while I’m at work or wait?

• Absolutely!!  We can provide the fast service that you need.

How do I get my prescription refilled?

• You can call (602) 839-2300 or stop by to request a refill. 

How do I transfer my prescriptions to Banner Family Pharmacy?

• Bring your bottles in or call us.  We will ask for the pharmacy phone number and names or prescription numbers.  We will transfer them for you.
  

 What types of medications can be filled?

• Any medication with a valid prescription.

Payments

Does Banner Family Pharmacy accept insurance?

• We accept most insurance, especially the Banner employee insurance.

How is Workman’s Comp handled through Banner Family Pharmacy?

• The process will be managed internally at Banner Health

How are co-pays or prescription payments handled?

• We accept all forms of payment including cash, checks, credit card and in the near future payroll deduction.  Call for more details!!
