Inpatient Services

We offer a 22-bed, secured Psychiatric Unit located in the West Tower at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center for patients requiring hospitalization.

The Inpatient Program is available for those 18 years and older who require evaluation and treatment of acute and serious mental illnesses. We can provide thorough assessment and rapid stabilization of symptoms in a medically sophisticated and humanistic setting.

Our individualized treatment can include:

• Individual therapy
• Group therapy
• Family theray
• Pharmacotherapies
• Concurrent treatment with primary care and other medical specialists when indicated. 

Couple and family participation are encouraged, including counseling and education regarding mental and emotional illnesses. Referring physicians and patients seeking psychiatric hospitalization should call Banner Health's Regional Patient Placement Office at (602) 839-4444.
