Laura Dreier

Laura Dreier
Laura Dreier was determined to help other women facing breast cancer after enduring a double mastectomy and drug therapy following her diagnosis in 1993.

In 1999, Dreier and her daughter Jill Alanko made a pledge through the Jonathan Dreier Foundation to the Banner Good Samaritan Breast Center.

In recognition of her significant gift, the Breast Center was renamed in her honor and became the Laura Dreier Breast Center at Banner Good Samaritan.

We have also established the Reaching Out: Laura Dreier Breast Health Program to educate women about the latest breast disease prevention, early detection and treatment information.

Through donations to the Banner Health Foundation and partnership with the Komen Foundation, the Reaching Out program has provided mammograms and treatment to hundreds of uninsured and underinsured women.

Since 2000, we have provided diagnostic mammograms to 300 women a year and provided more than a $1 million a year in treatment to women with breast cancer.
