The Emergency department at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center is proud to serve the emergency care needs of our Arizona communities. With board certified emergency physicians, and experienced nursing and support staff, Banner Good Samaritan’s Emergency department is well-equipped to diagnose and treat specific injuries or illnesses. It is our mission to deliver safe, excellent patient care, and our commitment to keep patients comfortable and informed while they are with us.
Banner Good Samaritan’s Emergency department is designated as a Level I Trauma Service which treats the most serious, life-threatening injuries. The unit has a team of trauma specialists on-call 24 hours a day. Patients can be assured that the most innovative technology and trained medical personnel are available to provide treatment around the clock and every day of the year.
At Banner Good Samaritan, we recognize that emergencies are stressful and inconvenient. For that reason we want every visit to our Emergency department to go as smoothly as possible. We are currently perfecting a new process that will allow patients to see a physician earlier in their emergency visit.
Clear communication plays a key role in our ability to successfully provide treatment. Spanish interpreters and other language services are available throughout our hospital. Accommodations for patients who are visually or hearing-impaired also can be arranged. Please ask the nurse or Emergency department receptionist about these services.
