Ron Shinar, MD
Dr. Shinar is a graduate the University California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., and his fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.

He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and serves as chief of body imaging.

She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Los Angeles County and University of Southern California’s (USC) Medical Center, and later completed a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at USC’s Keck School of Medicine.

She is certified by the American Board of Radiology specializing in body imaging and serves as vice chair of radiology at Banner Good Samaritan.

She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, N.M., and a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Wike’s specialty is body imaging.

Howard Baxter, MD
Dr. Baxter completed an internship at Los Angeles County Medical Center and graduated from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. He completed a residency in nuclear medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz.

He is board certified in nuclear medicine and radiology and specializes in both nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging.

Peter Sunenshine, MD
Dr. Sunenshine is board certified in Radiology and Neurology and fellowship trained in Neuroradiology and NIR. He has been practicing for six years and joins the Banner Imaging Associates practice from a practice in Florida.

Dr. Sunenshine performs the full spectrum of NIR including aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVFistula embolization, tumor embolization, spinal pain intervention, vertebral augmentation/vertebroplasty, carotid stenting, dural venous sinus throbolysis, and treatment of intracranial atherosclerotic disease. He is also trained in body interventional radiology.

He is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and serves as chair of radiology at Banner Good Samaritan.

David Wood, MD
Dr. Wood is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Following graduation, he stayed with the university’s School of Medicine to complete both a residency and a fellowship in interventional radiology.

He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and serves as chief of interventional radiology.

Steve Chen, MD
Dr. Chen comes to Banner Good Samaritan from Swedish Medical Center in Seattle and Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland, Wash., where he served as the co-chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Chen graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles. Dr. Chen is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Certificate of Additional Qualification in Interventional Radiology.

Calvin Lutrin, MD
Dr. Lutrin is a graduate of the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

He completed a residency in pediatrics at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Conn., as well as a residency in pediatric and nuclear medicine at Stanford University Hospital in Stanford, Calif.

Dr. Lutrin is board certified and serves as chief of nuclear medicine.

Gulab Shah, MD
Dr. Shah graduated from the Topiwala National Medical College at the University of Bombay, India and completed residencies at New York University-Bellevue Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital before becoming an instructor in radiology at Harvard University.

Dr. Shah's specialty is nuclear medicine with an interest in breast imaging and general radiology.

He went on to complete a residency in nuclear medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.

Dr. Sidarous' specialty is nuclear medicine.
