Neurodiagnostics
Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center’s Neurodiagnostics department provides both inpatient and outpatient diagnostic testing.
The department’s medical directors are boardcertified neurologists who are fellowship trained in subspecialties. The department also has a number of registered and dual-credentialed technologists who assist physicians during testing.
The Neurodiagnostics department participates in GateWay Community College’s Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program and students attend clinical rotations through the department.
The Neurodiagnostics department provides:
- Electroencephalograms (EEG)
- Ambulatory EEG
- Evoked Potentials
- Nerve conduction velocity (NCV)/Electromyography (EMG) testing
- Inpatient Long-Term Monitoring EEG Trending
- Intraoperative Monitoring
Diagnostic procedures and intraoperative monitoring are scheduled in advance and require a physician’s order.
Neurodiagnostics is open Mon. - Thurs. from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The department closes at 4 p.m. on Fri.
