Outpatient Stroke Clinic
Patients are referred to the Stroke Clinic after being discharged from the hospital after suffering an acute stroke. During their visit to the stroke clinic, patients will be evaluated by a stroke neurologist and will receive recommendations for stroke prevention. Patients will also be assessed for their need for ongoing rehabilitation.
The Neuroscience Clinic has a physical, occupational, and speech-language pathologist on staff to assist with patients requiring ongoing therapy.
The Stroke Clinic welcomes referrals from community physicians for patients requiring the expertise of a stroke specialist.
