Banner Good Samaritan provides support and education resources to help orthopedic patients feel confident that they are receiving excellent medical care.

We offer free classes for patients preparing to undergo joint replacement procedures including:

Hip replacement classes – held the first and third Wednesday of the month
Knee replacement classes – held the second and fourth Wednesday of the month

In addition to education classes, patients often meet with physical therapists prior to surgery to review therapy expectations, goals and strategies. From common exercises and precautions to review of assistive devices including walkers, shower benches and more, patients get a thorough overview of their post-operative rehabilitation plan.
