The Banner Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Institute provides support and education to complement the rehabilitative care patients receive.
The goal of rehabilitation is to get patients back to their homes and families as quickly and safely as possible. With that in mind, family members can participate in the rehabilitation process and in counseling and training programs to develop skills to help provide on-going care for their loved ones.
Our staff can help identify financial resources, support groups and other community resources.
Banner Good Samaritan also hosts support groups for patients dealing with issues such as brain injury, stroke, liver transplant, vestibular disorders and cancer.
Additionally, the Rehabilitation Institute partners with several organizations such as the :
- Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association
- American Stroke Association
- ALS Association
- Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona
- Multiple Sclerosis Society of Arizona
- The Neuropathy Association
- American Parkinson’s Disease Association
