Medical Toxicology

The Department of Medical Toxicology runs the Banner Good Samaritan Poison & Drug Information Center located at at Banner Good Samaritan. The BPCC provides specialized evaluation and treatment of illness and injury due to pharmaceutical agents, unintentional as well as intentional poisonings, and occupational and environmental exposures in all age groups.

 

Patients are cared for in the intensive care units and floor beds of Banner Good Samaritan or are evaluated at the Banner Occupational and Environmental Toxicology Clinic. The Poison Center takes calls from the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
