Through contributions from our community, Banner Health Foundation supports Dog Therapy, School-Based Health Clinics, the Banner Poison Control Center, and initiatives focused on cancer care, heart health, pediatrics, Alzheimer's Disease and more.
Dog Therapy Program
Starting with a few dogs at Banner Health's Banner Desert Medical Center, the Dog Therapy program is barking louder than ever before. These active pups now volunteer throughout Banner Health's not-for-profit facilities in Arizona, making bedside visits at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and its Rehabilitation Institute, Banner Mesa Medical Center, Banner Behavioral Health Hospital and Page Hospital.
No medicine. No needles. Just good, old-fashioned TLC delivered in a genuinely furry, four-legged way!
School-Based Health Clinics
Banner Health's School-Based Clinics help elementary school children who are under- and uninsured receive the healthcare attention they need, free of charge. This program, funded by the generosity of donors, private foundations and corporations, better prepares our children to learn their ABCs and 123s because they start the school day healthier.
Reading, 'riting, 'rithmetic...and readiness. Getting our kids ready to learn starts with good health.
