The Level I trauma team at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center brings together physicians who are board certified in their specialty, and have pursued continuing medical education in trauma medicine.
Our highly specialized trauma surgeon is active in developing and evaluating each patient’s plan of care. Our team also includes trauma-trained and certified registered nurses and other health care professionals.
Trauma residents, physicians who are doing further education in surgery, are the physicians you will see on a day-to-day basis. They are in-house and readily available to answer questions about your treatment and plan of care.
Each member of the trauma team contributes to the care of the patient through daily collaboration and team visits.
You and your family are also vital components of our trauma team. We encourage you to become involved in your care by asking questions and participating in treatment and discharge planning.
