Maternal-Fetal Center

Our Maternal-Fetal Center provides for all of your outpatient obstetrical needs.

Our center is staffed by RNs, ultrasound techs, and perinatologists who are all trained to care for your needs and those of your baby. 

We partner with your physician to provide individualized care to optimize your health and your baby’s wellbeing.

We use state-of-the-art equipment and software to insure you are receiving the most recent innovative technology, which assists us in providing excellent patient care.

Our services range from basic fetal testing to complex therapeutic procedures, including identification of the need to perform fetal surgery while your baby is still in the womb. We also provide comprehensive care to the families of developing babies diagnosed with a congenital defect.

Obstetrical Services:

Obstetrical Ultrasound: 


• Detailed and standard fetal anatomy survey
• 3D and 4D Ultrasound
• First-trimester screening
• Fetal growth and development
• Fetal echocardiogram
• Interpretation/consultation with a Maternal Fetal Center physician
• Results generally sent to your referring physician, same day

Fetal Surgery Services

• Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS) and Fetal Intrauterine Transfusion (FITS)
• Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Cord Ablation
• Fetal Shunt Placement (Lung and Bladder)

Location: West Tower of Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, 3rd Floor
Hours: Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
