In 2008, for the third year in a row, Banner Heart Hospital has been named one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals® for cardiovascular care by Thomson-Reuters. Thomson-Reuters reports that it is rare for a hospital to achieve national benchmark level performance every year.
This is the third time in Banner Heart Hospital’s eight-year history that it has been recognized with this honor. It is one of only three hospitals in Maricopa County and in the state to receive this designation.
The Top 100 Hospitals are selected by an objective, statistical comparison of hospital-wide performance using publicly available data.
