Adults 65 years of age and older experience a fall every year and can suffer moderate to severe injuries such as cuts, hip fractures and/or head traumas. Falls are almost the most common cause of traumatic brain injuries and are the most common cause of nonfatal injuries and hospital admissions for trauma.
