The care that patients receive at a Banner Health hospital does not always end when it's time for a patient to go home. In certain cases, a patient requires on-going medical care.

Banner Home Care is the largest nonprofit, free-standing home care agency in Arizona. We provide intermittent health care for patients of all ages in the comfort of their home.  Our home care team is experienced, compassionate and professional. One of our goals is to educate patients and family members to increase an understanding of the disease process, prevention and treatment. Home care promotes independence, helps with a speedy recovery, decrease return hospital visits and enhances quality of life.

In the most recent national Home Care evaluation Banner Home Care ranked in the top 25 percent of all home care agencies in the United States. Three areas of performances were evaluated, Quality of Care, Quality Improvement, and Financial Performance.

Medicare Quality Compare patient outcome measures are at the tops of the charts in patient satisfaction.

This was made possible primarily by our exceptionally dedicated Home Care Team, which includes Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Medical Social Services Workers, Home Health Aides, Dietitians and personnel from Home Medical Equipment and Home Infusion Therapy.
