Question: How will the process of becoming a part of Banner work?
Answer: The transaction is expected to be completed by Dec. 1, 2012. Banner and Odyssey are working to ensure a smooth transition beneficial to all patients, families, referral sources and employees. We expect a seamless transition with no disruption in service and performance as we integrate our home-based operations and Mesa inpatient unit.
Question: As Odyssey is a part of the Gentiva family, are any other Gentiva locations affected?
Answer: No. Gentiva Home Health will continue to operate in the Phoenix area. In addition, both Gentiva Home Health and Odyssey Hospice will continue to serve the Tucson area.
