About the Hospice House
The Banner Gardens Hospice House in located East Mesa has been providing inpatient and respite care for hospice patients since 2002.
Banner Gardens Hospice House patients receive around-the-clock care in a homelike setting. Patients have a private room, plus a common family area and kitchen.
Our team members include physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains and volunteers.
Banner Gardens Hospice House is conveniently located minutes from Banner Baywood Hospital and Banner Heart Hospital. It is on 72nd Street and Broadway Road, just east of Power Road and next to Merrill Gardens Assisted Living.
Hospice House Admission Criteria
The Banner Hospice admits patients into our house with life-limiting illnesses who do not seek further aggressive medical treatment. Additional requirements for admission include:
- Patients need symptom management that requires additional care and management that cannot occur in the home.
- You are seeking a five-day respite stay for caregiver relief.
