Banner Ironwood Medical Center

Health Care for a Growing Community
Banner Health is building in northern Pinal County to address the growing health care needs in the county and Southeast Valley. The 80-acre medical campus at Combs and Gantzel roads, adjacent to the Town of Queen Creek, will include a hospital and other associated services.

We are scheduled to open Nov. 1, with these services:

  • A full-service Emergency department
  • A focus on general and intensive care, obstetrics and surgery
  • 24 inpatient beds including intensive care and medical/surgical care
  • An obstetrics department with 12 beds along with four labor/delivery/recovery rooms and two c-section suites
  • Four surgical suites
  • Medical imaging services (X-ray, MRI, CT and ultrasound).

Room to Grow with the Community
Banner Ironwood is built to expand quickly with community growth. The first patient tower will open with 36 beds and can accommodate up to 86 beds when fully equipped. In total, more than 500 beds and supporting health services could be built on the 80-acre site.

Banner Ironwood Medical Center will join a network of Banner Health medical centers designed to meet the East Valley's growing health care needs, including:
