Patient Stories
At Banner Ironwood Medical Center, we pride ourselves on providing excellent quality care to each patient and their family members. From ensuring your private room is clean, to providing quality meals, to making you feel right at home, there is nothing we overlook when it comes to caring for our patients and the care they receive.
We love hearing about the experiences you encounter during your treatment.
Here's an example of a recent success story:
Brandy McCullough
Arizona

A San Tan Valley mother gave birth to a baby girl at Banner Ironwood Medical Center, nearly a year after the tragedy of delivering a stillborn child at almost full term.
Brandy McCullough gave birth to Aubree on Oct. 31, 2011. She was the hospital’s first baby born on Halloween. Her middle name, Avannah, is a tribute to her sister who passed away.
She’s wonderful, absolutely wonderful,” said McCullough, “Things have been good, kind of emotional.”
While the grief for the loss of Avannah was widespread, the birth of Aubree sparked a mini celebration in the hospital, with the head nurse in tears. McCullough was cared for by most of the same staff that helped her through her previous loss, including the same physician, Dr. Lino Ossanna.
While Avannah remains in her heart, McCullough says Aubree has been a joy, and the family is excited for the many great moments to come.
