Banner Health is recognized as being a leader in health care design and in the use of technology to ensure the safest care possible. You’ll see some of those electronic systems at work during your stay. For example, you may see your nurse use a special scanner to electronically scan your identification wristband and your medications to ensure we are giving you the correct medications in the correct dosages.

The physical environment of Banner Ironwood is designed to contribute to both your comfort and healing. Natural lighting, flowing water, and quiet spaces for healing and relaxation are available for you and your family.

Visiting Hours

Banner Ironwood encourages the role of family and friends in the healing process. For that reason, there are no set visiting hours.

Additionally, patients can designate one person to spend the night in the room, should they choose. Every patient room is private and offers a convertible sofa-bed for a family member or friend to stay the night.

Some patient care units may restrict visiting hours if it is in the best interest of the patient, so please check with the floor your nurse for specific information.
